MESSAGE FOR STUDENTS SEEKING TO JOIN IN PHARM.D

Dear students this is our privilege to inform your before you choose a college to join in pharm.D in India. These are the following measures that should be taken before you decide to join in pharmacy college regarding pharm.D

• Before you wish to join Pharm.D you should decide why you are willing to join in Pharm.D
• And select a college that has good teaching facility, labs,  and most important is hospital, because most of the colleges conducting Pharm.D does not have hospital facility but the colleges has the option to tie up with the hospitals near to the college and the hospital should have more than or equal to 300 bedded as per Pharmacy council
• Before you choose a college ask the students already studying or had been studied in that college because only the students can give you the exact information of the college
•  Most of the students choose the college on reputation as well as on the building but this can be sometimes it may be beneficial but most of the times it may not be a wise decision, so better ask the students
• And finally the colleges conducting pharm.D programme the college management has to pay stipend of RS:5000 ( if you had paid the specified fees at the time of internship) or you have to pay only 50% of fees at the time of internship as per the PCI amendments
• The last point should be asked to the colleges before you wish to join in that college you can get the information from the students of that particular college and not from the faculty or the management
